What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly financial reports including forecasts, cash flow, and balance sheets
- Support quarterly reporting and Board-level presentations
- Perform variance analysis and contribute to financial insights
Accounting & Operations
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Produce consolidated and departmental financial statements
- Lead and coordinate interim and year-end audits
- Support tax filings (HST/GST) with accurate documentation
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Play a key role in ERP system implementation and data migration
- Identify process improvements and drive efficiencies
- Collaborate cross-functionally on finance-related initiatives
What You Bring
- CPA designation (required)
- 5+ years of experience in corporate financial accounting
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (Epicor or similar is an asset)
- Solid Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in multi-entity or intercompany environments
- Exposure to system implementations or process improvement initiatives
- French language skills (asset)
