Our client in the GTA is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader with a strong background in the Electric Utility industry, specifically in engineering, planning, and design, to step into a key leadership role within the private sector.
Please Note: Only candidates with a degree in Electrical Engineering and a valid P.Eng designation will be considered. Direct experience in the Electric Utility or Power Distribution sector is essential.

Scope of Role
Market Research & Analysis
· Identify potential clients and projects in the Electric Utility sector requiring engineering services such as design, surveys, and studies
· Analyze industry trends and competitor positioning to develop strategic initiatives
Lead Generation & Client Outreach
· Develop a comprehensive database of prospective clients and project opportunities
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
Proposal & Bid Support
· Assist in the preparation of proposals, tenders, and RFP responses
· Collaborate with internal teams to refine technical and commercial proposals for competitive positioning
Networking & Relationship Management
· Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to increase brand visibility and strengthen partnerships
· Leverage existing professional networks to secure business opportunities
Strategic Advisory
· Provide insights on contract acquisition strategies and business development initiatives
· Recommend operational improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and competitiveness
Reporting & Communication
· Maintain regular progress reports on lead generation, market trends, and potential risks
· Provide strategic updates to senior leadership on business development opportunities
Additional Leadership Opportunities

Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
· Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng)
· Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the Electric Utility or Power Distribution sector
· Proven leadership in engineering or project-focused environments
